The Saddle Room on the first floor pampers you with a snug bedroom, complete with a restful double bed for sweet dreams and an adjacent bathroom with bathtub and toilet for your privacy.

The 400 year old Ottmanach Estate has 3 beautiful apartments available for rent; The Josefhof, The Schlosshof, The Studio Apartment and the Saddle room. Each apartment can be rented individually for up to 5 guests or we can accommodate a group of 14 guests across the three apartments.

The apartments offer every comfort and are decorated with beautiful antiques, pictures and books. They are available for year-round rentals.

The apartments sit in the midst of a fully functioning 200 hectare organic farming and forestry estate and guests are encouraged to explore its many aspects including Carinthia’s oldest and finest 18th century brick ventilation barns that have been lovingly restored; our organic farms and our woods which has a hiking trail to take you to the top of the mountain -The Magdalensberg;  our livery stables with 15 horses; try our famous Ottmanach Schnaps made from fruit grown around the house.

The Ottmanach Apartments are uniquely ideal to stay for both summer and winter holidays and is blessed with temperatures that rise to 35 degrees in the summer and fall to minus 15 in the winter, with snow in abundance.

In the summer months we invite you to splash around in our enormous circular swimming pool with fountain and play tennis on our clay court- available for a small premium during selected weeks, ride out on horses from our stables, hike along wooded mountain trails , take the bikes out and fish in our emerald green lake – for those in search of the high life, within 20 minutes’ drive you can reach Austria’s famous Lake, the Worthersee, and enjoy the restaurants, clubs, casinos, golf galore ,sailing ,kayaking  and water skiing.

In the winter months, there is excellent Skiing nearby, with a choice of up to 7 good sized resorts, all within one hour or less drive from the Estate. We are lucky to be surrounded by a number of Lakes that freeze over in the winter. We encourage guests to skate at these lakes or toboggan down prepared runs; we can provide toboggans for your use.
